These terms apply to purchases of the software Right of Withdrawal for WooCommerce ("the Product"), developed and provided by edit — engholm data & it ("edit", "we"). Contact: info@ed1.se.
The Product is a WordPress/WooCommerce plugin providing a digital right-of-withdrawal function under the EU directive requirements. System requirements and features are described in the documentation. The Product is delivered digitally as downloadable software.
Purchases are processed by our payment partner Freemius, Inc., acting as merchant of record, handling payment, receipts, and VAT. Payment is made by card or PayPal. Prices are stated excluding VAT; applicable VAT is added at checkout based on your country and VAT number, if any. At purchase you also accept the Freemius End User License Agreement (EULA) presented at checkout.
The Product can be tried free of charge for 14 days with full functionality, without entering card details. After the trial, a paid license is required for the customer-facing features to keep working. Data created during the trial is not deleted.
The license is sold as a subscription (monthly or annual) and renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time via the customer portal (link in your license email), effective from the next renewal period. Non-payment may result in license deactivation.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. Refund requests are made via the customer portal or by contacting info@ed1.se. Refunds are issued to the payment method used at purchase.
The license grants the right to activate and use the Product on the number of websites included in the chosen plan (Single: 1 site, Agency: up to 5 sites, Unlimited: unlimited). The license may not be redistributed, resold, or shared outside your own organisation. The source code is licensed under the GPL to the extent required by the WordPress licensing terms.
An active license includes software updates and email support (info@ed1.se). We aim to respond to support requests within one business day.
The Product is a tool that helps store owners meet the EU directive's requirements for a digital right of withdrawal. Responsibility for the store's own legal compliance always remains with the store owner. edit is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license during the preceding twelve months.
At purchase, your data is processed by Freemius in accordance with their privacy policy. The Product itself stores withdrawal cases in your own WordPress database — edit has no access to your customers' data. Privacy questions: info@ed1.se.
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated by email to registered license holders. The latest version is always available on this page.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts.
